Power is work being done faster or slower. If you are really strong, you have a lot of power. Wrestlers and strong fighters have a lot of power because they are really strong. A bug is not as powerful as a gorilla.
Power is measured in Watts. The formula to find Watts is Joules divided by Seconds.
Watts=Joules / Seconds
Let's try an example: A lightning bug has 200 Joules for 10 seconds. How much power does the lightning bug have?
We use this formula Watts=Joules divided by Seconds
The joules are 200 and the seconds is 10
(200)/(10) = 20
The lightning bug has 20 Watts of power! Good Job!
